Day 01:: Arrive to Kathmandu; transfer to your hotel
Flying in to the Himalayan nation Nepal is different in itself. Witness the towering Himalayan giant’s minutes before landing Tribhuvan International Airport in Kathmandu if the weather permits. Enjoy the cordial Nepalese welcome in arrival terminals of the airport and drive to your designated hotel in Kathmandu.
Day 02:: Drive to Syabru Besi [1400m] 9 hrs drive
After the hearty breakfast in your hotel, you will board the private vehicle which will transfer you to the starting point of the trek- Syabrubenshi. It is 9 hours drive on a paved and twisted highway which climbs over the ridge to Trishuli valley. Beyond Balaju and Nagarjun the highway leaves behind Kathmandu valley at Kakani 2145m. Witnessing the magnificent views of Annapurna II, Manaslu and Ganesh Himal from Kakani the road slides down to wideTrishuli valley towards Syabrubenshi. Syabrubeshi is an ideal location at the bank of Bhotekoshi to kick off the trek to Langtang. You will check-in your hotel at Syabrubenshi once you arrive there.
Day 03:: Trek to Lama Hotel 2380m 5-6 hrs trek
After your breakfast your trek will begin. Initially the trial will follow the bank of Bhote Koshi River and at a junction of landslide 1550m the trial begins to follow the bank of Langtang Khola for a while and immediately gains elevation towards Lama Hotel. The trial continues to elevate higher mostly through the forest with wide range of animal and plant biodiversities. At 2000m the trial crosses the northern bank of Langtang Khola over a suspension bridge and follows the steep trial along the forest through series of waterfalls to Rimche at 2330m. Climb a bit more and descend gradually for ten minutes to Lama Hotel 2380m. Enjoy your meal and sleep tight at a tea house there.
Day 04:: Trek to Langtang Village 3500m 5-6 hrs trek
Enjoy your breakfast and get well prepared as today the trek is going to be bit tougher. The trek starts with a gentle climb which becomes steeper very soon. As you climb high above Langtang Khola the enticing view of Langtang Lirung 7246m, appear through the gaps of the trees. As the trail crosses a stream on a wooden bridge and climbs through paddocks you enter Ghore Tabela 3000m. Beyond Ghore Tabela the trial again climbs towards the wider valley to pass the yak pastures, mani stones and dispersed Tamang villages to Langtang Gompa. From Langtang Gompa, the trial slides down a bit to the stream. Crossing the stream, you will gradually climb passing several water mills and prayer wheels to Langtang village 3500m. Langtang is the headquarter of famous Langtang National Park. Unleash your exhausted trek in a tea house at Langtang.
Day 05:: Trek to Kyanjin Gompa 3800m 2-3 hrs trek
Clearing the breakfast table you will resume the trek. Traversing the village you will climb to a ridge occupied by huge square chorten and long line of mani walls. Climbing gradually as you pass the villages and yak pastures the valley becomes boarder, crossing a wooden plank bridge after a short climb Kyanjin Gompa is visible. Allowing time to properly acclimatize the trek to Kyanjin Gompa 3800m is three hours. The Gompa there and the functioning cheese factory built in 1955 are the major highlights at Kyanjin Gompa. Apart from these the views are obviously wonderful. You will have your at Kyanjin Gompa and begin to explore around after checking-into a tea house at Kyanjin Gompa.
Day 06:: Rest day in Kyangjin, day hike to Tsergo Ri 4350m and return back Kyanjin
At your breakfast table you will see two peaks with prayer flags marking their tops- Kyanjin Ri 4773m and Tsergo Ri 4984m. Today, you are hiking to Tsergo Ri. It is a four hour climb to the Tesrgo Ri. The peak of the Tsergo Ri offers the best view of Langtang Ri and the other Himalayas of the region. The views of the glaciers and Kyanjin Gompa from the peak of Tsergo Ri are equally awesome. You will enjoy the lunch at the peak of Tsergo and slowly slide down back to Kyanjin Gompa.
Day 07:: Trek to Lama Hotel [2784m] 4-5 hrs trek
After the breakfast you will resume your trek. Since you are retracing your trial down to Lama Hotel, you will get more opportunities to explore on the way back. While returning from the trek the trials are normally easier as you are descending. On the way back to Lama Hotel explore as much as possible as you are in no rush. Capture every memory you adore into your cameras.
Day 08:: Trek to Syabru Besi [1400m] 4-5 hrs trek
Continue your retracing path to Syabrubenshi. Explore and capture more and do not rush, you have abundant time. Once you arrive at Syabrubenshi your trek ends at the point. Check-into your hotel and release your tiredness.
Day 09:: Drive back to Kathmandu
After the breakfast a private vehicle will escort you through the mountainous highway to Kathmandu. It is 9 hours drive because of the tough road conditions; however the comfort level in your vehicle will ease the journey for you. There are so many things worthy watching and experiencing on the way. Experience the sub-urban culture; enjoy the views of hilly landscapes and rushing river. As you arrive to Kathmandu, the vehicle will straight away escort you to your hotel. Enjoy the evening as per your wish.
Day 10:: Depart Kathmandu
Our representative will escort to the airport for the final see off to your onward destination. Have a safe flight and visit Nepal time and again we have much more to show.
