At your arrival in Tribhuvan International Airport in Kathmandu, you will meet a represntative from Ecstatic Himalaya, he will greet you and transfer you to the Hotel. Overnight at the hotel
Day 02:: Sightseeing tour of Swayambhunath, Pashupatinath, Boudhanath & Kathmandu Durbar Square
After breakfast, meet a city guide at your hotel lobby, board a vehicle and drive to Swayambhunath.
Swayambhunath is also called a monkey temple, located in a hill top in Kathmandu which is pilgrimage for Buddhist as well as Hindus. It is one of the UNESCO world heritage sites which provides a panaromic view of the whole kathmandu city. It is mainly a buddhist stupa and is always packed with Buddhist chanting Om Mane Padme Ho. The way to swyambhunath is a silent market that sells different handicrafts that can be bought as a soveigner.
After the sightseeing of Swayambhunath, board a vehicle and drive to Pashupatinath
Pashupatinath is one of the most important temple for Hindu's of Nepal. This temple is dedicated to Lord Shiva. Many Hindu pilgrimage from all over the world has a dream to visit Pashupatinath once in their lifetime. Pashupatinath is also listed in UNESCO world heritage site and is one of the oldest temple of Kathmandu valley. The major highlight that makes people interested about this temple is the cremation site in the bank of Bagmati river where Hindu dead bodies are burned following the Hindu tradition and culture.
After the sightseeing tour of Pashupatinath, again board the vehicle and drive to boudhanath which is not too far from Pashupatinath
Boudhanath is a huge buddhist stupa located in the middle of a small buddhist market.Boudhanath has also been listed as a UNESCO world heritage sites. Though the 2015 earthquake damaged the stupa hugely it has already been maintained and has been made more attractive than before. Boudhanath is a largest Buddha stupa of South Asia.
After completing the sightseeing of Boudhanath again board the vehicle and drive to Kathmandu Durbar square
Kathmandu Durbar Square is one of the major attraction of Kathmandu valley. It is situated near the major tourist destination, thamel which can be reached in few minutes walking. The Kathmandu Durbar Square consist different historical palaces, museum, Kumari temple, many small temples etc. Kathmandu Durbar Square has also been listed in the UNESCO world heritage sites.
After the sightseeing of Kathmandu Durbar Square, depending upon your preference either you can walk back to your hotel in Thamel or you can board a vehicle and drive back to your hotel. Overnight at the Hotel.
Day 03:: Sightseeing tour of Patan Durbar Square & Bhaktapur Durbar Square; drive to Nagarkot
After having breakfast, meet our guide and drive to Patan Durbar Square which is considered to be the best among the three Durbar Squares of the Kathmandu Valley. Patan Durbar Square was slightly affected during the earthquake of 2015 but still the architectural highlights can be observed.
After having lunch, drive to Bhaktapur Durbar Square which is located in the middle of the beautiful newari city, Bhaktapur. A walk along the streets of Bhaktapur will give you the feel of newari culture and tradition.
After the sightseeing tour of Bhaktapur Durbar Square, board the vehicle and drive to Nagarkot.
Nagarkot is reached after half an hour drive in the highway. It is a popular hill station near Kathmandu valley. On arrival in Nagarkot, check into the hotel. In the evening stroll around the beautiful village with a view of sunset in the Himalayan giants.Overnight in a hotel in Nagarkot.
Day 04:: Sunrise view from Nagarkot & Drive to Chitwan 186km 6-7 hrs drive
Wake up early in the morning, walk to the view tower for a sunrise view on the Himalayan peaks. The major himalayan peaks that are seen from Nagarkot are Manaslu, Kanchenjunga, Everest, Gaurishanker, Langtang, and Makalu. After enjoying the sunrise view walk back to the hotel for having breakfast.
After breakfast, drive along the Prithvi Highway till you reach Mugling. The highway seperates road to Pokhara and Chitwan in Mugling. Take a road that leads to Narayanghat. After 36 KM drive along the highway you will reach Narayanghat. we will again drive in the lowland of Nepal to reach Chitwan National Park which is one of the UNESCO World Heritage site.Check into the hotel and after a short break again meet the guide and proceed to explore the National Park which is a home to endangered species like one horned rhino, gangetic dolphin, Royal Bengal Tiger and ghariyal crocodile. After enjoying the jungle ride, return back to the hotel. Overnight at the hotel.
Day 05:: Jungle activity at Chitwan National Park
Meet the guide and proceed for the early morning canoe ride in Rapti river. After the canoe ride return back to the hotel for breakfast. In the afternoon we will go for a jeep safari deeper into the forest, which provides pleanty of opportunities to see the unique wildlife. After the Jeep safari, return back to the hotel and have lunch. After some rest proceed to the Elephant breeding centre. In the evening, observe the Tharu Cultural Dance in the hotel itself. Overnight at the hotel.
Day 06:: Drive to Lumbini 110km 5-6 hrs drive; Sightseeing tour of Lumbini
After having breakfast, drive along Mahendra Highway until we reach Butwal from where we will take a road to Lumbini. At the arrival in Lumbini, check into the hotel and after having rest meet the guide and proceed for the sightseeing tour of Mayadevi Garden. You will explore the Puskarini Pond, Mayadevi Temple, Ashoka Pillar & the monastic zone. After the sightseeing return back to the hotel. Overnight at the hotel.
Day 07:: Early morning sightseeing tour of Lumbini & drive to Tansen; 97km 4 hrs drive
After having breakfast drive towards Butwal from where you will take a road to Tansen. The road is a thrilling highway alongside the hills. After driving for half an hour from Butwal, you will reach Tansen. Drive towards a hill station named Shrinagar. Check into the Hotel in Shrinagar. Overnight at the Hotel.
Day 08:: Sightseeing tour of Tansen and drive to Pokhara; 140km 6 hrs drive
After having breakfast, you will stroll around Tansen for the sightseeing. After that continue the drive through the Siddhartha Highway to reach our destination i.e beautiful lake city Pokhara. Upon arrival in Pokhara, check into the hotel. After taking some rest, meet the guide and proceed for the sightseeing of Pokhara. We will reach Peace Pagoda hilltop before the sunset to have an amazing view of the sunset in the Himalaya. After that we will drive to the lakeside and stroll around. Overnight in the Hotel.
Day 09:: Sightseeing tour of Pokhara
After breakfast, we will drive towards the Mahendra Cave. After strolling inside the Mahendra Cave, we will have a sightseeing of Davis fall. After lunch we will drive to Sarankot a hub for adventures like paragliding, zip-flying and ultra-light flights. If you want to do these adventure activities, you should inform us in advance. After the sightseeing of Sarankot, drive back to Pokhara. Overnight at the hotel.
Day 10:: Drive back to Kathmandu
After breakfast, board the vehicle and drive back to Kathmandu through Prithvi Highway. Upon arrival in Kathmandu, check into the hotel. Overnight in the hotel.
Day 11:: Final Departure
A representative from Ecstatic Himalaya will meet you at the hotel and transfer you to the Tribhuvan International Airport for the final departure
